"I take no pleasure in the destruction of the wicked," "I will rejoice over you to destroy you." Which is it?
"...God, which cannot lie," "the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth," "God shall send them strong delusion." Which is it? The Cross Was Hell
Some people believe that Christ went to hell after He died. This would be true in the sense that hell is sometimes properly interpreted as the grave both in the Hebrew sheh-ole, and in the Greek hades, and Christ certainly went to that hell. But hell has another biblically proper interpretation by which we discover that Christ suffered hell before He died. In fact, when He gave up His spirit and died, it was a sweet release from the torment of that living hell, all to save us from the same fate.
